Frequently Asked Questions

The best time is now! Jiu-Jitsu is a great way to increase physical fitness and there is probably nothing better to help you get in shape for Jiu-Jitsu than just doing Jiu-Jitsu. Our instructed classes can be done with low to moderate intensity and you can go at your own pace. The more intense training typically comes during our open mat times when there is live sparring, and that is something you can increase your duration over time. As with any physical activity, please discuss any health concerns or physical limitations with your doctor prior to beginning Jiu-Jitsu.
